PDO Threads — CE-Certified Non-Surgical Lifting & Skin Tightening
PDO (polydioxanone) threads are a minimally invasive, non-surgical technique for lifting, tightening, and biostimulating the skin. Using a fine needle or cannula, biodegradable polydioxanone threads are placed beneath the skin where they provide immediate mechanical support and trigger a long-term collagen remodeling response.
As the threads absorb over 4–6 months, they leave behind a framework of new collagen that continues to improve skin firmness, elasticity, and density for up to 12–18 months after treatment.
Types of PDO Threads
Mono Threads — smooth, single-filament threads that create a mesh beneath the skin for diffuse collagen stimulation and gentle tightening. Best for skin quality improvement and subtle firming without directional lift.
Spiral Threads — helical design increases the collagen-stimulating surface area, providing stronger biostimulation and slightly more pronounced skin tightening. Suitable for areas requiring enhanced elasticity.
Cog Threads — barbed threads that physically anchor to subcutaneous tissue for directional, mechanical lifting. The highest-impact option for visible repositioning of sagging facial or body skin.
