Sunekos 1200 is an injectable biostimulator based on 1200 kDa high molecular weight hyaluronic acid and the patented HY6AA complex of six amino acids. How Sunekos 1200 works
The HY6AA complex provides amino acids involved in collagen and elastin synthesis in defined stoichiometric ratios, supporting extracellular matrix regeneration. The 1200 kDa HA is described as rehydrating the deep dermis and helping to protect fibroblasts and matrix structures from oxidative stress.
Indications and treatment areas
Sunekos 1200 is indicated for nasolabial folds, perioral wrinkles, glabellar lines, forehead wrinkles, and acne scars and other facial scars. It is also used on facial areas that need tissue support, such as the cheeks, chin, cheekbones and lips, and on the neck, décolleté and other body areas, including the back of the hands.
Within Sunekos protocols it serves as the scaffold component for deeper wrinkles and skin laxity. Clinical evaluation has reported improvements in hydration, skin elasticity and wrinkle parameters following treatment with Sunekos 1200-based protocols.
Protocol positioning
Used on its own, Sunekos 1200 is applied in 4 to 6 consecutive sessions at weekly intervals, or at a frequency set by the practitioner. In the Sunekos face protocol, the first session uses Sunekos 1200 together with Sunekos Performa. Performa follows after 14 days and again after a further 14 days, with an optional fourth session in more pronounced cases.
