Stylage XL with lidocaine is an injectable implant indicated for treatment of facial volume defects, including restoration and augmentation of cheeks and contours of the face as well as for treatment of slight ptosis.
The product is also indicated for treatment of facial lipodystrophy, including that seen in patients HIV positive.
This filler may be also used to rejuvenate hands.

Stylage XL is intended to be injected into deep dermis in such areas as:

The results occur for approximately 12 months, however, patients’ individual characteristics like skin type, lifestyle and sun exposure have a significant impact on it.

Stylage XL is a cross-linked, highly viscoelastic non-animal derived hyaluronic acid gel that is sterile, apyrogenic and has physiological pH and osmolarity.
Stylage XL with lidocaine side effects
Some discomfort after the injection including swelling, tenderness, bruising and redness of the treated region may occur. Those effects are temporary and shouldn’t last more than 7 days.
Patients can perform normal daily activities right after the procedure.
Contraindications for Stylage XL with lidocaine treatment
If the patient is allergic or hypersensitive to hyaluronic acid, pregnant, breastfeeding or has an autoimmune disease the procedure should not be proceeded as well as when the area is inflamed or infected.
