Stylage HydroMax device properties
Stylage HydroMax is a sterile cross-linked hyaluronic acid gel of non-animal origin, with an addition of an antioxidant (sorbitol). The solution is a-pyrogenic and has a physiological pH and osmolarity.
The unique feature about the Stylage products is the presence of an antioxidant, which protects the preparation from free radicals’ impact on hyaluronic acid that speeds up its degradation.
Stylage HydroMax side effects
Some discomfort after the injection including swelling, tenderness, bruising and redness of the treated region may occur. Those effects are temporary and shouldn’t last more than 7 days.
Patients can perform normal daily activities right after the procedure.
Contraindications for Stylage HydroMax treatment
If the patient is allergic or hypersensitive to hyaluronic acid, pregnant, breastfeeding or has an autoimmune disease the procedure should not be proceeded as well as when the area is inflamed or infected.
