Bi-SOFT technology is an answer to growing needs of the aesthetic medicine industry. The main objective of the project was to create a syringe that ensures stability, precision and manoeuvring simplicity to the same extent. The objective was achieved through shifting of the centre of gravity to the edges of the plunger that is located closer to the doctor’s hand.
Perfect construction of the syringe
The Bi-SOFT syringe construction is extremely ergonomic and was created having in mind both simple and more complex aesthetic medicine treatments. The body of the syringe is made of transparent polycarbonate of the highest medical quality. Furthermore, the syringe comprises soft to the touch and therefore work simplifying parts made of thermoplastic elastomer. An addition of this material ensures optimal adherence and absence of sliding between the syringe and the doctor’s glove. In the place for fingers, there is a concave surface with raised edges that prevents sliding of the fingers from the surface of the handle. All these solutions enable an excellent course of the injection.
The surface of the plunger in Bi-SOFT, that is 80% higher than an ordinary syringe, is worthy of particular attention. Such a solution enables to manipulate the syringe with the palm of the hand, not only with the thumb. Thanks to that, a healthcare professional feels that he/she applies less force while pressing the plunger, which is particularly important while administrating volumetric preparations of high viscosity.
